MARKETERS

Phan Nguyễn Hoài Anh
Anh sees himself as a romantic marketer who believes that the best way to maximise business financial growth and sustainability is to build brand, and that building brand is all about advocating for humanities. Before entering marketing industry, Anh had spent 10 years as a technical geek since he was 13. When Internet and social media rapidly shifted from being one minor part of marketing into the most crucial one, Anh's career evolved deeper toward marketing and brand building in the digital world. While other marketers then tried to acquire digital skillset, Anh felt in love with the art of advertising and the beauty of brand building, discovering the potential of how to apply his technical background to add values to traditional ways of building brands. He spent the next 7 years helping marketers and brands, from the agency side, to plan and execute human-centric marketing initiatives with digital innovation. His agency Sofresh was named Digital Agency of the Year by Campaign Asia 4 years in a row. After that until now, he has been working for PNJ, the largest jewelry retail business in Vietnam, as head of marketing department. Under his leadership, the market has witnessed a major transformation and expansion of PNJ brand reinforcing its market leadership, opening up new opportunities and sustainability. Outside of work, Anh is passionate with the art of making music and film, the areas he has many times utilised to make his marketing campaigns become more tasty.
