I registered for the competition and paid the registration fee. However, when the organizer announces the sponsor who is the competitor against the brand that I’m working for (in case you are working on the client side) or my agency or my team is in charge of (if you are working in agency). So can I withdraw from the competition and get back the registration fee?

This is a competition to identify the young talents and give them a chance to gain international exposure, then represent Vietnam to compete in the two biggest global creative arenas, Young Lions – Cannes Lions and Young Spikes – Spikes Asia. All contestants, juries and sponsors coming to this competition wish to open their learning opportunities and hope to mark Vietnam on the world’s creative map. Sponsors and jury members may come from competing companies, but when it comes to this competition, they temporarily put aside the rivalry to support young talents together. Therefore, the organizer expects you – as the contestants – to consider your goals and priorities once you enter this competition.

If you feel you can’t overcome your competitor’s problem, you may withdraw from the competition. However, the registration fee is non-refundable as specified in Article III, in the Terms and Conditions of the competitions.
